Why use VAWC Co-ops?
Using worker co-ops in the VAWC system builds and strengthens our co-op economy. The co-op members of VAWC:
• fund and direct their own cross sector co-op development fund.
• govern and direct their own support and development (with 2 new co-ops in two years!).
• co-created curriculum at the university level to educate students about the co-op model (www.umasscec.org).
